Much gratitude to Lee for our first album review:
“Joyful, gentle, and barely an octave above a whisper, the dozen tracks on Peace Sounds certainly live up to the album’s title. Ostensibly a musical celebration of a visionary individual once nominated by Martin Luther King, Jr. for the Nobel Peace Prize, Peace Sounds is a fine collection in its own right for anyone seeking an hour’s escape from the sound and fury of the everyday rush.”

Wake Up London & Friends
Hello brothers and sisters,
Welcome to the Peace Sounds website. Peace Sounds is a music album lovingly produced by Wake Up London & Friends to raise funds for an upcoming event in London called ‘Sit in Peace’ with Zen master, teacher, author and poet Thich Nhat Hanh.
Wake Up London are a group of young adults practicing mindfulness inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. As well as recording songs with brothers and sisters in our community, we have invited various great musicians to offer their songs to Peace Sounds.
The compilation album is comprised of songs to do with peace, love and meditation.
Peace Sounds will be released online in February 2012. Check back here for updates.
May all beings be at peace.
